Producer. Composer.
Mixing Engineer.

Ethan Carlson is a music producer, composer, and mixing engineer based in Oak Park, Illinois — just outside Chicago. With 20+ years of experience, Ethan has built a career spanning artist development, commercial scoring, sync licensing, and live touring.

His production credits include work with Jesse McCartney, The Driver Era, Rozzi, and many more. On the sync and commercial side, Ethan's music has been featured on Netflix, Hallmark, MTV, Walgreens, Google, and Yoplait national campaigns.

As a touring engineer and live sound professional, Ethan brings a rare understanding of how music lives in both the studio and on stage — informing mixes that translate everywhere from earbuds to arena PAs.

Ethan's multi-disciplinary approach — combining production, composition, mixing, and live sound expertise — allows him to serve as a true creative partner, whether you're an artist shaping your next single or a music supervisor seeking the perfect placement.
